Bridesmaids' Makeup for Rachelle and Laurence Gatchalian's Wedding

Wendy, the maid of honor wanted a simple makeup. She asked if I could do a natural look for her so I gladly obliged. Some of the pictures below were taken a few hours after I finished doing her makeup. She was rushing to do errands and tasks for the bride that we didn't have the time to take pictures while her makeup was still "fresh". :)

Kris, on the other hand, was bolder with her makeup choices. During our trial, I tried a red lip on her, and I thanked the heavens that she loved it! We did the look during the wedding and, personally, I think that she resembled Adelle on that day. HEHEHE! :P Below are her photos:

Group pictures please! :))

Pictures after the ceremony (makeup still intact..thank God!! :D)

"Guess Concept" and Crisela Swimsuit Collection Photoshoot

After about a month of not practicing (due to my hectic day job), I was given the opportunity to do a photoshoot with Mr. Edward Padama. I was a nervous wreck but I pulled it off somehow. It was not the most perfect makeup but nevertheless, I'm still so happy for doing it, thankful for the new people I've met and full of hope that it will open more doors for my career. :)

More pictures of Reigndear! :)

My good friend, Reign and I had an "agreement" for our engagements, it was sort of an ex-deal, she was going to model for me on our graduation and I was going to do her make up for her PoleDolls photoshoot.

Here are the fruits of my labor and some pictures taken from Reign's cam. I'm still waiting for the raw photos and will update once I get my hands on them! :D

Now, be amazed by her prowess! :) And, like them PoleDolls on Facebook.

Geez! How I wish I can do even half of their pole dancing skills. Haha!!

my so-called skincare regimen

I never really followed any rigorous skincare regimen when I was in high school or in college. For me, the task of doing the cleanse-tone-moisturize routine was exhausting and unnecessary (or it was just the laziness taking over again). I only relied on my trusty bath soap before since it was doing such a great job in keeping my skin clear and acne-free.

...Or so I thought.

Much to my dismay, my skin begun to "act up". I would get annoying breakouts; pimples started popping here and there, one after the other. It was a pain in the *SS! So, I thought that maybe because of years and years of not doing the "routine", my skin was beginning to take its toll on me. Gahhh!! I had to act fast and think of a solution. I tried soooo many products, I wasted money on a lot of them since they did nothing for my breakouts. Then, I discovered organic products, and I'm so happy that I tried them!

Now, I present to you my skin BFFs:

(from left to right) Human <3 Nature Sunflower Cleansing Oil, Human <3 Nature  Sunflower Beauty Oil, Human <3 Nature Moisturizing Day Fluid and Dickinson's Witch Hazel

Here's my take on these products: (note that I've been using these for more than a month now)

Human <3 Nature Sunflower Cleansing Oil
--- This is so effective in removing stubborn, waterproof makeup. I'd use a cotton ball or a cotton pad for this, let it soak in my eye and face for a few minutes then wipe it off with baby wipes. It leaves skin oily though so I'd still wash my face with soap and water after (unless you like the oily, gunky feel, then choose to leave it that way..hehe!)

Human <3 Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil
--- It claims to help lighten dark under eye circles, dark spots and pimple marks, and amazingly, IT DOES JUST THAT AND MORE!! But, it is not an overnight thing, you have to be a bit diligent with this for it to work. I find that it is less greasy and easily absorbed by the skin compared to the cleansing oil. I usually leave on pea-size amount of this fluid on my face at night. However, I've read on some reviews that they use this during the day as a moisturizer, but I find it too oily. And, that is why I bought the next product.

Human <3 Nature Day Moisturizing Fluid
--- Well, this one is just an OK product for me. It moisturizes without being greasy and icky and that's good enough to merit my liking. And, the best thing about this is that it doesn't break me out. The other products I've tried (ehemm Olay Total Effects!) TOTALLY failed in that area!

Dickinson's Witch Hazel
--- It claims that it cleans deep down to your pores, but I don't really know how that feels so I can't comment on that. Haha! All I know is that I get this refreshing feeling after I use it. Beware of the smell though, it was overpowering at first but it doesn't bother me now. I guess my nose just got used to it. Another con of this product is that it is so hard to find! They say that you can buy this at Healthy Options but it's always out of stock! Well, I guess I'd have to use it sparingly until I find another bottle. *sigh*

**If you guys are wondering, you can buy Human <3 Nature products in Landmark Trinoma or you can order here.
